Product Description:

The Beckhoff EL4001 is a precise analog output terminal that is used for the generation of analog voltages in automation systems. These EL Ethercat Terminals are designed to control one output channel with the signal voltage of 0 to 10 V, so it is appropriate to connect them to actuators, valves or any other analog controllers. The EL4001 has a resolution of 12 bits; thus, it splits the output range into 4096 signals for precise adjustment. It is powered via power contacts with the 24 V DC power supply and communicates through E-bus while consuming about 140 mA for efficient data transfer and control.

An important feature of the EL4001 is the Distributed Clocks that ensures the high synchronization accuracy of the Ethercat system. This terminal clock has an accuracy of less than one microsecond, and it ensures a precise synchronism of analog output signals with other I/O devices. The EL4001 has a conversion time of 100 microseconds, which enables the feedback to make changes in the control system and provide highly ordered analog outputs.

The EL4001 terminal is designed with high safety and reliability. This analog output terminal is capable of handling loads above 5 k? to protect the connected appliances against any faults. This terminal also offers a watchdog function that is useful for maintaining the output at a safe level whenever there is a disturbance in communication, while the user-dependent ramp functions ensure improved signal scaling. The EL4001 terminal weighs only 60 grams and can be mounted easily, which makes it ideal for different industries where synchronized voltage output is necessary. The EL4001 terminal offers precise and reliable analog output with high synchronization, safety features, and easy integration into industrial automation units.
