The Beckhoff EL3702 is one of the most advanced Ethercat terminals suitable for high-speed and high-accuracy analog signals production. This terminal is a unit of the EL Ethercat Terminals series. It has two channels for differential signal inputs as well as a voltage signal of -10 V to +10 V. This high-speed data acquisition system is suitable for dynamic applications such as Signal vibration analysis, waveform acquisition and feedback units for motion control. Through the E-bus, the terminal provides 16-bit resolution and up to 100 kS/s per channel, which allows the terminal to track quickly changing analog signals accurately.
A significant characteristic of the EL3702 is the input signal bandwidth within a range of 0 and 30 kHz. This bandwidth enables the terminal to measure signals within a wide frequency range. It is useful for real-time data acquisition in fast processes like industrial automation, robotics and testing in laboratories. A high input filter limit frequency of 80 kHz increases the frequency response and simultaneously reduces signal distortions. Moreover, the terminal also has the feature of an oversampling factor up to the value of one hundred to improve the data transmission.
