Product Description:

The Beckhoff EL3602 is an Ethercat analog input terminal from the high-precision Ethercat Terminals Series. Ethernet terminals are mainly used in circuits with high-voltage input. It also offers two balanced differential inputs. It is useful in applications where it is crucial to eliminate any form of noise. The terminal has a broad range of input voltage signals between -10 V to +10 V. Moreover, it works with precise inputs like -5 V, -2.5 V, or -1.25 V, depending on how sensitive the application is. It operates on the E-bus, the same as the communication bus with the Ethercat system, making installation easier and with less complexities in the wiring.

Some advantages of the EL3602 input terminal include its 24-bit resolution, including sign capability. This level of resolution makes the module suitable for scientific, experimental, laboratory or industrial applications where absolute voltage-to-change ratio is important. It also has a customizable conversion time that ranges from 1 ms to 400 ms, though the default is 20 ms, depending on the user's preference for speed or accuracy. The input filter limit frequency is 3 kHz to improve the balance between the signal accuracy and the response time, with measurement error equal to < 0.01% at 25 degrees C.

The EL3602 is designed with an internal resistance at 200 K, thus, such circuit does not overload the system and offers accurate voltage measurement. It also has crosstalk attenuation of more than 60 dB, a factor that helps to minimize the interferences between the two input channels. Furthermore, this terminal offers a wide voltage range and can withstand CMV of up to 35 V while providing greater flexibility.
