EL3403 is an EL EtherCAT Terminals from Beckhoff Automation. It is designed for precise digital input measurements. The terminal supports true RMS measurement procedures which make sure high accuracy. The EL3403 terminal maintains a resolution standard of 1 µA for current 0.1 mV for voltage and 10 mW for power. It can measure voltage up to 500 V AC and current up to 1 A (AC) using measuring transformers. The terminal measurement uncertainty is kept within 0.5% relative to full scale values for voltage and current and 1% for calculated values which ensures reliable data. It provides electrical isolation of 1500 V and increases safety in high voltage environments. The EL3403 terminal draws approximately 120 mA of current from the E-bus which makes it efficient in terms of power consumption.
