Product Description:

The EL3312 EtherCAT Terminal is a compact two channel analog input device for measuring precise temperature and voltage. It is manufactured by Beckhoff that is engaged in developing advanced industrial automation products. It directly supports connection of thermocouples and easily integrates into EtherCAT based control systems.

The EL3312 EtherCAT Terminal provides 2 analog input channels with the 2 wire connection method. E-bus supplies the power with a typical current consumption of 200 mA. A typical input filter limit frequency of 1 kHz has been implemented in the terminal which gives stable signal acquisition. It can measure the voltage in the ranges of ±30 mV, ±60 mV and ±75 mV. The resolution is adjustable up to 16 bits to allow the user to fine tune measurement precision according to application needs. The EL3312 EtherCAT Terminal accepts various thermocouple types, and measurement uncertainty is function of thermocouple type: ±8.5°C for B and ±6.2°C for C at 23°C ambient temperature. It has a default time between 1.2 seconds and 20 milliseconds and the conversion time is flexible.

The EL3312 EtherCAT Terminal is designed for industrial environments and operates from -25°C to +60°C and can be stored between -40°C and +85°C. The module weighs approximately 60 grams and can be easily installed in compact control cabinets. It is a high accuracy, flexible configuration and fast signal processing device that is suitable for applications in process control and monitoring. The EL3312 is combined with EtherCAT technology to provide precise, fast and reliable transmission of analog input in automated systems. This product comes with a 1-year warranty when purchased from Wake Industrial and is eligible for same day shipping options.
