The EL3174-0002 is an EtherCAT analog input terminal produced by Beckhoff to provide customers with a reliable way to process analog signals, digitalize it, and transmit them to a higher level automation device. This product is designed to work with input signals that fall within the range of -10 to +10 volts and an input voltage that is between -20 to +20 amperes. There are four input terminals on this product, and each of these terminals can be individually parameterized.

The terminal measuring range of this device is up to 107 percent of the nominal range, the terminal also supports commissioning with sensor values in the limit range, and diagnostics according to NAMURE NE43. The EL3174-0002 features input filters which maintain a limit frequency of about 5 kilohertz. The common-mode voltage of this product is about 35 volts.

The EL3174-0002 features overcurrent protection, it can also be installed and use without the need for any configuration settings.
