Product Description:

The EL3124-0018 is a unique analogue input EtherCAT Terminal that is produced by well-trained industrial professionals to handle signal currents within the range of 4 to about 20 milliamperes. This input current is converted to digital signals at a resolution of 16 bits and transmitted in an electrically isolated form to the connected higher-level automation device. There are about four differential input channels on this product, and each of these channels possesses a common internal ground potential. The terminal is also able to prevent errors and machine failure by automatically detecting an open lead or overload conditions and alerting operators through special error LEDs integrated into its housing unit. The diodes can also communicate the signal state at each analogue input channel on the product.

The EL3124-0018 analogue input EtherCAT terminal contains distributed clocks. The internal resistance in this product is about 85 ohms, while the input filter limit frequency is approximately <<5 hertz. The time it takes for the EL3124-0018 to convert the input current to digital signals is about 100 microseconds, while the possibility for measurement error in the terminal during operation is estimated to be about 0.3 per cent. The surge voltage resistance on this product is about 35 volts.

The EL3124-0018 does not require any configuration for optimum operation. To maintain the performance standards of this product and prevent overheating, the ambient operating temperature should be between -25 to about 60 degrees Celsius. The EL3124-0018 is determined to conform to the EN 600068-2-6 vibration and shock resistance level. Each product also carries the CE, UL, ATEX connection markings as a confirmation of its quality standards.
