The EL3114 EtherCAT Terminal captures current signals from 0 to 20 mA and converts them to 16 bit digital values. It supports differential input and offers electrical isolation. The terminal is designed for industrial automation applications.

The EL3114 EtherCAT terminal is designed for the acquisition of analog input signals in the 0 to 20 mA current range. It features four differential input channels each capable of independent signal processing. The terminal performs 16 bit resolution A/D conversion with a signed integer format. The typical conversion time is approximately 100 µs. Internal resistance is about 85 ohms plus diode voltage. The terminal includes differential inputs with a shared internal ground potential. The terminal can detect overload conditions. The EtherCAT module includes four differential inputs. The current signal is electrically isolated and transmitted via the E bus. The input filter limit frequency of the model is 5 kHz. The unit supports distributed clocks with precision much less than 1 µs. It has a maximum common mode voltage of 10 V. The device operates with a surge voltage resistance of 35 V DC. Dimensions of the model are 12 mm wide, 100 mm high and 68 mm deep.
