Product Description:

The EL3052 EL EtherCAT Terminal is a small and precise analog input module suitable for use in industrial automation systems. This input terminal offers 2 single-ended technology-based analog inputs that facilitate effective monitoring of current signals in various applications. This terminal has an input signal range of 4-20 mA, which is generally used to transfer analog data over long distances with immunity to interference.

This input terminal incorporates an internal resistance of generally 85 Ω to ensure the current signals are properly read and processed. The input filter of the EL3052 input terminal has a limiting frequency of 1 kHz to eliminate noise and allow proper signal acquisition despite electrically noisy conditions. This terminal provides a measurement error of less than ±0.3% of the full scale value to give reliable performance in applications needing tight measurement tolerance. For quick data acquisition, the default conversion time for this terminal is 0.625 ms. This value is adjustable and supports multiplex operation to ensure easy configuration according to the particular application demands. With a resolution of 12 bits, the EL3052 terminal digitizes high-precision input signals, while a 16-bit data display with sign provides correct data format and interfacing with control systems.

This terminal offers 500 V electrical isolation between signal voltage and E-bus to protect the terminal and connected systems against electrical faults. The dielectric strength of this terminal reaches up to a maximum of 30 V for protecting against voltage transients on the input side. Physically, this input terminal is around 60 g in weight, which ensures it is easy to handle and install in tightly confined control panels. The protection class of IP20 further makes this terminal suitable for use in clean, dry industrial locations without direct exposure to water or heavy dust.
