Product Description:

Beckhoff EL3024 is a high precision Analog Input Terminal for demanding industrial applications with reliable current signal acquisition. This module, as part of the EL EtherCAT Terminals series, provides four differential input channels and is ideal for systems where interference immunity and signal fidelity are of utmost importance. The 12-bit resolution is provided in a 16-bit format including sign for each channel to provide accurate measurement and control, while each channel supports a standard industrial current range of 4 to 20 mA.

The EL3024 effectively balances responsiveness and signal stability with an internal resistance of typically 85 ohms plus diode voltage and an input filter limit frequency of 1 kHz. The conversion time of 0.625 ms (configurable in multiplex mode) permits it to be used in real time process control applications. The Ebus supplies power, eliminating the need for external wiring and simplifying overall system integration. Surge voltage protection rated at 35 V DC is also included in the terminal, providing added robustness in electrically noisy or harsh environments.

The EL3024 is about 60 grams in weight, and is compact, with an operating temperature range from -25C to +60C and a storage range down to -40C. This flexibility allows it to be used in both standard and challenging environmental conditions. With a low measurement uncertainty of less than ~0.3%, it provides high accuracy over the entire signal range, making it important for process automation, energy monitoring, and industrial instrumentation.

Specifically engineered to meet the demanding requirements of today's automation systems, the Beckhoff EL3024 provides seamless EtherCAT integration, reliable signal conversion, and excellent immunity to electrical noise, providing a reliable solution for all current signal acquisition applications in a wide range of industries.
