The EL3008 is a small terminal, optimized for accurate and efficient measurement of high-quality analog signals. It is powered by the E-bus, which obviates the requirement for individual wiring and facilitates easy system integration. With an internal resistance of more than 130 kΩ, it reduces signal loading and provides accurate voltage measurements from the connected sensors. This terminal is equipped with an input filter that has a limit frequency of 1 kHz. Therefore, it is ideal for general-purpose monitoring of signals in automation applications. It has configurable conversion time of 1.25 ms as default. This allows it to trade speed for accuracy based on the application.

The EL3008 provides 12-bit resolution to detect signals with high precision and shows data in 16-bit signed format to ensure clear visibility of signed values in processing systems. The device is immune to dielectric strength of 30 V or less to protect against noise due to electrical environments or voltage spikes. Measurement error remains less than ±0.3% relative to the full-scale range such that users can be assured of its performance in analog data acquisition. The EL3008 is ideally suited for applications with precise analog signal acquisition in a modular system. It is multiplexable and thus provides flexibility for reconfiguration of analog input arrangements without rewiring. It smoothly integrates into EtherCAT networks, operating as a part of an expandable control network.
