This Ethernet equipment supplies four sustained digital outputs that operate perfectly at 24 volts. With resistive load handling ability, this device delivers effective control to indicators, solenoids, and binary actuators that function through simple power state switches. Despite minor voltage changes, the terminal runs reliably within a voltage range of -15% to +20% around its primary 24 V DC operating level. Each of its four channels produces 0.5 amperes at most, yet the device needs to handle no more than 2.0 amperes throughout all channels for typical low-power digital output work. The EL2788 excels at transforming power quickly because it can switch states between on and off within less than 1 microsecond. It shows its greatest strength when rapid control actions need to happen in a limited time. The device terminal offers built-in short-circuit defense to shield both the terminal and other connected products.

This terminal shows faults through short-circuit and open-circuit sensitivity, which lets maintenance experts solve problems promptly while reducing downtime. The terminal connects wires through its spring mechanism that is both secure and easy to install without tools. The device works with wire sizes from 0.08 mm² up to 2.5 mm² for many wiring applications. Featuring a very small design at 12 mm wide by 100 mm high and 68 mm deep, this terminal helps engineers use their available space more efficiently.
