Product Description:
Designed by Beckhoff, this EL2535-0005 EtherCAT terminal is characterized by a PWM output. This product controls proportional and solenoid valves with single and double coils. It uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) of the supply voltage to regulate the output current and this terminal offers electrical isolation from the E-bus. Its outputs are equipped with short circuit and overcurrent protection. The terminal's current values are specified through a 16-bit value.
This product's signal stages are highlighted by LEDs. The device's PWM stages portray a push-pull output stage. This unit is an ideal option for inductive loads greater than 1 mH. It has a maximum 5 A output current at 24 VDC nominal voltage for both channels. The terminal offers no assurance of safe operation with hardware or software modification. This product is identified by a unique identification code. The device-associated ESI-EEPROM stores the ESI/XML configuration file for the EtherCAT master. This unit's light emitting diodes simplify the diagnosis process. It supports inductive loads.
The EtherCAT terminal's feed-in points of cables tend to depict a temperature of higher than 70 C when its operation is done. This product's ambient operating temperature range must never be exceeded when it functions in a potentially explosive area.
