Product Description:

As an EtherCAT terminal component, Beckhoff designed the EL2034.

The terminal handles industrial automation signals precisely with its high-performance analog chip. The model suits demanding analog applications since it shows remarkable stability while processing sensor signals in precision instrumentation systems. Operating within a wide voltage range of ±2.5V to ±18V, the terminal features a 5 pA input bias current that maintains accurate signal distortion-free amplification. The EL2034 maintains exceptional measurement accuracy because its 0.5 mV input offset voltage works well in power-sensitive setups. When power-saving is important in energy-efficient systems or distributed installations, the terminal stands out thanks to its supply current, which measures at 100 micro milliamperes. The module produces a standard output between ±13.5V and operates at a 1 MHz bandwidth for effective analog signal processing. Despite its low slew rate of 0.2 V/µs, the model can handle basic control and monitoring work even when faster reactions are not needed.

The device maintains low electrical loading at its input terminal because it displays a high impedance value of 10¹² ohms. The EL2034 terminal filters input noise very well thanks to its 80 dB common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) and 85 dB power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), which stabilize output signals throughout changing supply voltage. The device delivers 100 dB open-loop gain that helps users adjust gain accurately without feedback components. This chip operates equally well across a broad range of load conditions thanks to its 60-ohm output resistance and its capacity to handle up to 200 pF of load capacitance. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
