The EL1512 is a compact, high performance digital counter terminal which is a part of the EL EtherCAT Terminals series from Beckhoff. This terminal is designed to deliver accurate and reliable pulse counting and position tracking in industrial automation systems and is capable of supporting up/down counters with a 32 bit resolution. The EL1512 operates at a nominal voltage of 24 V DC with a corresponding voltage range of -15% to +20% and has an input signal frequency up to 1 kHz. Its connection technology is designed to support one up/down counter or two individual up or down counters, making it highly flexible for a wide range of applications.

This module is perfect for use with digital position encoders or counting devices where accurate feedback and real time signal processing are necessary.
