Product Description:
EL1202-0100 is a Beckhoff EtherCAT terminal with two-channel digital input. It acts as an interface between control signals and the higher-level automation equipment. The terminal acquires digital inputs while providing isolation. Status LEDs are provided for indicating the signal state of the two channels on the terminal. The terminal support XFC distributed clock technology. This feature allows acquisition of input signals in sync with other data connected to distributed clock terminals. Special features supported for the terminal include low input delay and fast switching times (less than 1 microsecond). Connection technology supported by the EL1202-0100 terminal is 4-wire. The nominal input voltage is 24 Volts DC. The specified voltage range for the low signal level is from -3 to 5 Volts and that for the high signal level is from 11 to 30 Volts.
The typical input incurrent is 3 milliamps and the input filter delay is less than 1 microsecond. Precision for distributed clocks, when activated, is much less than 1 microsecond.
