The EL1144-0000 is a four-channel digital input terminal produced by Beckhoff in the EL EtherCAT Terminals series. The unit snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail and forwards binary field signals to an EtherCAT controller for real-time processing. The terminal’s supply conductors are looped through power contacts that can carry up to 10 A, so downstream devices can share the same field supply path. Mechanical dimensions are limited to a width of 12 mm, a height of 100 mm, and a depth of 68 mm, which allows dense side-by-side mounting in shallow control boxes.
