Product Description:
Beckhoff EL1024 is a Digital input terminal designed for industrial automation. Beckhoff is a small EtherCAT device that can receive 24 V DC binary control signals and send them to higher-level automation units in a way that keeps them electrically separate. The product can directly connect to four 2-wire sensors and has green LEDs on each channel to show the signal state.
The EL1024 EtherCAT terminal has four digital input channels that meet the requirements of EN 61131-2, type 2. Each input can handle a nominal voltage of 24 V DC with a range of -15% to +20% and usually needs 6 mA of input power. The input filter is set to 3.0 ms, which makes sure that mechanical switches are detected without any debounce. Signal voltage "0" can be found between -3 V and +5 V, and signal voltage "1" can be found between 11 V and 30 V. Between the E-bus and the field potential, the connection separates the electricity by up to 500 V. Most of the time, the power contacts use 30 mA + load and the E-bus uses 90 mA. The digital input device is capable of withstanding stress and vibration in accordance with EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27. CE, UL, ATEX, and IECEx standards are also present.
The EL1024 EtherCAT terminal can handle up to 95% non-condensing relative humidity and keep things cool between -25°C and +85°C. The width is 12 mm, the height is 100 mm, and the depth is 68 mm. The product can be utilized in circumstances that require accurate digital data capture and good separation of electrical signals. The device can be placed in a variety of positions and operates at temperatures ranging from 0°C to +55°C. It is protected by the IP20 requirements.
Frequently Asked Questions about EL1024:
