The CX9010-A001 is a small-sized, high-performance Embedded PC from Beckhoff created with the purpose to be used in the CX Series. This variant is equipped with an integrated high-speed Intel IXP420 processor based on XScale® technology, with a clock frequency of 533 MHz, which ensures excellent computation capabilities for use in industrial control applications. It is equipped with 128 MB RAM and 32 MB internal flash memory.>> Processing critical data shall not be expandable in storage, which makes the overall structure streamlined and space-efficient.

The CX9010-A001 is equipped with flexible networking capabilities, including 2 x RJ45 Ethernet ports at 10/100 Mbit/s. These Ethernet ports are internally switched to form the robust communications needed for real-time control systems. Additional diagnostics LEDs show power, LAN activity, and flash access for system-status monitoring and assessment of operational performance. This model operates on Microsoft Windows CE 5 and supports the runtime of either TwinCAT 2 CE PLC runtime or TwinCAT 2 CE NC PTP runtime for control tasks. Interconnections to I/O are supported with E-bus (EtherCAT Terminals) and K-bus (Bus Terminals), doing a great job of integrating quietly into the automation environment of Beckhoff. The battery-backed internal clock ensures that time and date are precisely logged as required by industrial time-sensitive processes.

The CX9010-A001 operates with power supply 24 V DC and the max loss of power is 6.5 W that allows the energy efficiency operation.
