The CX9010-A001 is an embedded PC unit produced by Beckhoff as part of the CX Embedded PC Systems series. In a control cabinet, it serves as a compact PLC and communication gateway. It combines deterministic logic processing with Ethernet-based fieldbus interfaces so that I/O modules and motion components can be coordinated from a single DIN-rail device. This arrangement lets control logic and network exchange be handled in one housing rather than through separate cabinet modules.

The storage interface accepts Type I/II CF Cards, and access is provided through a front-mounted Compact Flash Slot, allowing storage media to be changed without opening the housing.
