The Beckhoff CX9010-0002 embedded PC is a compact DIN rail mounted controller designed for industrial automation and control tasks. It features an Intel® IXP420 processor with XScale® technology running at a 533 MHz clock rate and operates on Microsoft Windows CE.
The CX9010 series PC includes 32 MB of internal flash memory and 128 MB of RAM. It integrates two RJ45 Ethernet interfaces connected via an internal switch which enables a simple line topology configuration for efficient network integration without additional switches. The device is compatible with EtherCAT Terminals (E-bus) providing fast and precise control in conjunction with the TwinCAT 2 automation software. The model includes a dielectric strength of 500 V for the internal electronics and a power supply requirement of 24 VDC with a tolerance of – 15 % to + 20 % necessitating a 4 A fuse to meet UL standards. The model can withstand temperatures from 0 °C to + 50 °C during operation and from – 25 °C to + 85 °C in storage.
This CX9010-0002 embedded PC also includes diagnostic LEDs for monitoring power and network status as well as an internal battery backed clock for maintaining accurate time and date data during power outages. The model's LED indicators provide visual feedback for operational status. The PWR LED displays TwinCAT statuses: red for STOP mode, green for RUN, blue for CONFIG and off when offline. LAN 1 and LAN 2 LEDs show link and activity statuses for their respective LAN ports while the L/A LED indicates link activity on the E-bus. The K-Bus LED displays K-bus traffic status and errors with green and red flashes. The HDD LED lights up during Compact Flash card access.
