Product Description:

The Beckhoff CX9001-0002 offers an effective embedded system developed to run automation operations in systems with moderate capacity.

With CX series features, this network PC system delivers cost-effective basic operations that maintain dependable communication across automation platforms. With a 400 MHz Intel ARM 9 processor, the CX9001-0002 delivers the necessary processing performance for basic automation operations. The controller combines 64 MB of RAM plus 64 MB of flash memory, which matches perfectly with Windows CE system requirements. The operating system design fits perfectly into systems that require low-weight platforms to deliver fast reactions while using a small amount of resources. The system uses two Ethernet ports (2 x RJ45) to connect with managed networks and other devices through standard TCP/IP network protocols. This machine can handle automation duties across distributed networks because of its fieldbus features. The system includes LEDs that show system status right on the front panel with 1 LED for power, 2 LEDs for LAN activity, and 1 LED for flash access.

Despite its low maximum 10 W power usage, the module uses a 24 V DC power supply to meet energy-saving requirements in small spaces. The compact embedded PC fits into a 19 mm slim housing made for DIN rail mounting, which simplifies standard control cabinet placement. The device measures 19mm wide by 100mm long by 91mm tall and weighs 200 grams. The unit achieves an IP20 rating and works correctly across temperature ranges from -25 °C to +60 °C. An internal battery maintains the real-time clock's accuracy when the normal power supply stops. It can be purchased at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
