The CX8190/TC1200-0020 is a state-of-the-art and highly durable industrial controller produced by Beckhoff Automation to provide accurate control of automation systems used in the industry. This controller is equipped with two Ethernet Ports through which data can be transferred at an impressive rate of 100 megabits per minute. Unlike conventional industrial controllers, this product can support most of the major communication protocols, including EtherCAT Automation Protocol, Ethernet, ADS UDP/TCP or EAP protocol. During operation, K-Bus or E-Bus terminals can be attached to this product as required; the controller will automatically recognize all types of input and output systems connected to it during the start-up phase. For flash memory, a slot for a MicroSD card is present on the controller; originally, a 512-megabyte Flash memory is included with the controller, although this is expandable and can be increased by the operator. The main memory on the controller is an integrated 512 megabyte DDR3 RAM. The main memory is not expandable.
The CX8190/TC1200-0020 is equipped with three Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), which are intended to provide operators with quick information about the operation status of the controller in real-time. The diodes will also provide information on the error status of the product. The CX8190/TC1200-0020 controller contains an internal clock which provides information on time and data. The battery is located behind the front flap of the controller and is easily exchangeable.
During operation, the CX8190/TC1200-0020 requires a constant supply of 24 volts of direct current, it also consumes about 4 watts of electrical power. The operating temperature of the CX8190/TC1200-0020 controller is between -25 to about 60 degrees; during storage, the ambient temperature around the controller can be as high as 85 degrees without any problem.
