This controller combines an Intel Atom processor, fieldbus interfaces, and PLC runtime in one DIN-rail housing so it can drive modular I/O and motion hardware directly from the control cabinet. Running the TwinCAT 2 PLC Runtime, it executes IEC 61131-3 logic, coordinates drives, and exchanges data with higher-level SCADA networks.
