The CX5130-0115/000055841 is an embedded PC module produced by Beckhoff within the CX Embedded PC Systems series. It is designed as a DIN-rail-mounted controller for machine-level automation. The unit combines computing, networking, and I/O supervision while providing the central processing platform for TwinCAT 3 Runtime-based PLC, motion, and visualization tasks.

Its processing unit is an Intel Atom E3827 with two cores operating at 1.75 GHz, and the dual-core architecture improves deterministic multitasking during real-time operation under TwinCAT 3 Runtime. System data are buffered in 4 GB DDR3-RAM, providing enough volatile memory for cycle variables and user interfaces. For fieldbus routing, the controller provides 2 x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet sockets that can be configured as separate networks or as an internal switch.
