Product Description:
The CX5120-0160 is an embedded PC system designed by Beckhoff. It belongs to the CX5000 series built to control motion and PLC logics due to its real-time interface capability through Ethernet, USB and optional fieldbus connections. The CX51 embedded system is DIN rail mountable and weighs 975 g.
The CX5120-0160 embedded system features an Intel Atom® E3815 processor with a clock speed of 1.46 GHz and a single-core design. It operates with a maximum capacity of 2 GB DDR3 RAM and use CFast card and microSD card for storage, which needs to be procured separately since they are not included. The CX51 embedded system has built-in E-bus to K-bus input/output system recognition capability and two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports for quick high speed network communication. The system also offers a DVI-I port for simple attachment to display monitors and four USB 2.0 ports. The CX51 embedded system operates with passive cooling to maintain complete silent functionality. In normal conditions the maximum power usage of the device is 11 W while the UPS power requirement reaches 18 W during load. It works with a power source delivering 24 V DC and draws 2 A of current. The CX51 embedded system has a built-in time and date storing mechanism that functions reliably on a replaceable battery.
The CX5120-0160 embedded system measures 122 mm in width along with 100 mm in height and 92 mm in depth. Its diagnostic LEDs provide real-time feedback of power status as well as TCrsys, flash access and bus status. The CX51 embedded system has protection rating IP20 which makes it suitable for installation within industrial cabinets and offers class I certification for functionality in hazardous environments of gas and dust.
