Product Description:
Beckhoff is known for focusing on dependability and modularity when making automation technology that can be used in many areas, such as industrial automation. The CX5120-0112 is an Embedded PC that Beckhoff developed to facilitate robotics and control tasks.
The Intel Atom® E3815 processor in the CX5120-0112 embedded PC operates at 1.46 GHz. The PC is equipped with slots for both microSD and CFast cards; however, these cards are not included with the unit. For data security, the integrated PC has a 1-second UPS that gives the CFast card 1 MB of persistent memory. In situations where the UPS is not in the process of charging, the system is capable of transmitting up to 2 A of current to either the E-bus or the K-bus, and it uses approximately 11 W of electricity. When powered by 5 volts and 2 amperes, the E-bus or K-bus has the capacity to support up to 10 watts of power. The PC measures 122 mm wide, 100 mm tall, and 92 mm deep, and it controls its temperature with passive cooling.
The embedded PC CX5120-0112 has one DVI-I port, two RJ45 ports for 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet, and an extra port that may be added for expansion. Three status lights—power, TwinCAT, and flash access—indicate the current state of the bus. A battery is used to power the embedded PC's internal clock. The battery can be replaced when it runs out. Windows Embedded Compact 7, TwinCAT/BSD, and various versions of Windows 10 IoT Enterprise are supported operating systems. The embedded PC is intended for integration with industrial automation systems. Wake Industrial offers this embedded PC module with one year warranty.
