The CX5120-0110 is an Embedded CPU controller from Beckhoff that can be mounted on a DIN rail and is made for use in industrial automation systems. This compact PC model is equipped with a 1.46 GHz single-core Intel Atom E3815 processor, allowing it to efficiently tackle a variety of automated activities.
There is no expansion available on the 2 GB of DDR3 RAM that is provided with the CX5120-0110 CPU controller. Not included are the flash memory cards, but it is compatible with microSD and CFast formats. Connecting a display is a breeze with the four USB 2.0 connections, two RJ45 Ethernet connectors (10/100/1000 Mbit/s), and a DVI-I link. When an I/O connection is made using an E-bus or K-bus connector, the PC will recognize it automatically. Diagnostic LEDs display power, Transmitter status, Flash access, and Bus status. The computer draws a maximum of 11 W from its 24 V DC power source, with that number increasing to 18 W when the UPS is completely charged. Time and date are maintained using an internal, battery-operated clock. Windows Embedded Compact 7, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (varieties), and TwinCAT/BSD are among the operating systems that can be utilized with the system. Similarly, control software is compatible with TwinCAT 2 and TwinCAT 3.
