The CX5020-0120 is an embedded PC model manufactured by Beckhoff. This device is designed for top-hat rail installation with scalable systems that allow assembling and installation of the required model in the control cabinet or terminal box. This device is one of the CX5000 series that is optimized for compactness using sizeable dimensions and robustness in operations. The device system includes an interchangeable Compact Flash card located behind a flap that is accessible from the outside, and it is used as a boot and storage medium. This card offers a standard size of 128 megabytes of memory that can be optionally extended. It is also equipped with an Intel Atom processor at 1.6 Gigahertz.
The Intel Atom processor is designed to consume low power while also maintaining a small footprint. These two features add to the compact design of the CX502-0120 PC model.
