The CX5010-0115 is an embedded PC produced by Beckhoff within the CX Embedded PC Systems series. It functions as a compact PLC and HMI host, enabling centralized control, visualization, and communication tasks on factory floors and in building automation where a DIN-rail form factor is preferred for space-conscious control cabinets and wall-mounted automation panels. A DVI-D port supports digital panels for operator feedback, and maximum internal power loss is limited to 12 W to help keep cabinet temperatures under control.

This controller is built around a Intel Atom Z510 processor running at 1.1 GHz, a combination that delivers deterministic execution for PLC logic and motion functions handled by the TwinCAT 3 XAR runtime. The main memory consists of 512 MB RAM, while the operating system and project data reside on a swappable 128 MB Compact Flash card.
