The Beckhoff Embedded PC CX Series, model CX5010-0100, features an Intel Atom Z510 processor rated at 1.1GHz. This device provides a single-core solution for excellent computing power in a small-footprint architecture. It has a Compact Flash card slot that accepts a 128MB card and may be modified to accommodate extra memory if necessary.
The memory unavailable is 512 MB of RAM and is non-upgradable and designed for the preloaded operating systems of Windows Embedded CE 6 and Windows Embedded Standard 2009. This configuration makes for efficient working for the dedicated applications. This model also has an integrated 1-second UPS that employs 1 MB of the compact flash card to prevent data corruption in case of power failure. This embedded PC provides two 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet RJ45 connectors, one DVI-D for video output, and four USB 2.0 for peripheric connections.
