The CX2030-0115 CPU Module manufactured by Beckhoff used as the central controller in automation systems. It is one of the parts of the CX Embedded PC Systems Series that includes a wide range of basic CPU modules that are used for their specific functionalities.
The CX2030-0115 CPU module supports multiple standard interfaces for networking, display, USB peripherals and optional extensions for flexibility in industrial integration. For storing the operating system, runtime software and project data on solid state CFast memory it has 20 or 40 GB flash memory which ensures fast access and durability in harsh environments. It is capable of working in 95% humidity level provided that condensation does not occur which preserves internal electronics from moisture damage. It has 128 kb of non-volatile RAM which stores persistent data such as process values or logs without needing backup batteries or UPS systems. It requires a controlled environment as it is only protected against touch by fingers and objects >12 mm.
