The CX2030-0113 is a Beckhoff CPU module. It is based on a dual-core Intel Core i7 processor that is clocked at 1.5 GHz. The CPU is a fanless device without rotating components. The baseline chipset for the CPU has 2 GB RAM which can be expanded to 4 GB. The CX2030-0113 CPU module boots from a CFast memory card. The interfaces available on the CPU module include: two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, one DVI interface, and four USB interfaces. For applications without an UPS, the CPU has NOVRAM with 128 kB capacity. Serial and fieldbus interfaces are available as options. Multi-pin terminals on the unit allow connection to other CX2000 series components. The CX2030-0113 runs on Microsoft Windows 10 IoT or Embedded Compact 7.
Operators can connect a maximum of four modules to the CPU module. A CX2100 power supply connected on the right of the CPU unit provides DC power. The CPU module supports 20 GB and 40 GB CFast cards. Passive cooling is employed for heat dissipation and active cooing is available as an option. Diagnostics LEDs are available for power, bus status, flash access and TC status. An internal clock provides data and time information. An onboard battery provides power backup for the clock. Compatible control software include TwinCAT 2 runtime and TwinCAT 3 runtime. The nominal power supply is 24 Volts DC with 20% allowed tolerance. Maximum power consumption of the CPU is 28 Watts. Mechanical specifications include 1165 grams weight and 144 x 99 x 91 millimeter dimensions. Enclosure of the CPU module is IP20 rated.
