This DIN-rail-mountable embedded PC combines CPU resources, fieldbus interfaces, and local I/O power distribution so it can function as the central controller in machine cells or building automation panels. By hosting real-time control software, it replaces separate PLC, motion, and visualization hardware and streamlines cabinet layouts in industrial automation projects. The DIN-rail format also suits control cabinets where space is limited and direct integration with terminal modules is required.

The unit runs on a dual-core Intel Core i7-2610UE at 1.5 GHz, providing deterministic multitasking for logic, motion, and HMI threads. It includes 2 GB DDR3 RAM for program code and variable data, and an internal CFast slot, which is not supplied, can hold the operating system because no factory image is preinstalled.
