The Beckhoff CX1900-0021 is an advanced and reliable Embedded PC for industrial use. It incorporates a 1GHz Intel® Celeron® M ULV processor which is highly effective and power efficient ideal for industrial applications.
It supports 256 MB of DDR RAM which can be upgraded to 1 GB to meet the needs of more advanced applications and multiple operations. Storage is provided by a Compact Flash slot with 128MB of CF card included, which can be easily replaced or expanded as needed. The network connectivity is good, the vessel has two RJ45 10/100Mbit/s ports with an internal switch, for network connection and line topology. The operating system that is used is Windows Embedded Standard 2009 which is suitable for any system that requires a stable and secure platform. Next-generation automation and motion control feature TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime which extends the PC’s potential for use in industrial environments. Controls include connectivity plus DVI/USB to connect with Beckhoff Control Panels with VGA and DVI-I output. It is possible to use EtherCAT or K-bus as a Fieldbus with the possibility of switching between the two depending on the configuration of the system. The power supply voltage is 24V DC and the device has a CX1100-type power supply module to ensure the stability of the power supply.
Modular connectivity is also present and the buses that this model supports are E-bus and K-bus. To protect against dust, the device is rated at IP20 for cabinet installation, and it provides diagnostic LEDs for power and LAN, TwinCAT, and flash access.
