Product Description:

Beckhoff CX1900-0013 Embedded PC is a compact yet powerful computing solution for industrial applications that feature rich specs for tough and efficient environments.

The key to the performance is an AMD® Geode LX 800 processor at 500 MHz, which is chosen for its low thermal output and energy efficiency to deploy stably over a long time. The memory on these Embedded PCs is flexible, with the ability to expand to as much as 32 MB of Flash and 128 MB of RAM. The Compact Flash is the main storage medium. Operating platforms supported by the system include TwinCAT, Windows CE.NET, and Windows XP Embedded, and it is configurable to enable easy operation. The CX1900 0013 is designed to work on a 24 V DC power input to ensure its uniform performance in various industrial applications. It utilizes passive cooling technology which removes the need for a fan and consequently removes wear in mechanical parts, leading to increased system longevity. The unit features a Compact Flash slot for adding more memory. Connectivity consists of a single RJ-45 Ethernet port to the network, along with a COM1 RS232 interface to support serial communication to interface with multiple peripherals and machinery. It uses PC104 standard bus (104 ISA signals) which is most suited to compact embedded systems.

It has two USB 2.0 ports for extra connectivity, and display outputs consist of DVI-I (DVI-D + VGA). Superiorly lightweight, the PC weighs about 355 g with the DVI/USB module, enabling easy integration into a control cabinet using top hat rail mounting. On Windows NT-based systems TwinCAT supports robust watchdog timer functionality supporting system recovery if the high availability features fail. The system can program up to four virtual IEC 61131 CPUs with a minimum cycle time of 50 µs and control up to 256 axes via TwinCAT software, making it ideal for complex motion control applications in industrial environments. Wake Industrial offers a one-year guarantee on this device.
