These PCs are powered by high-performance processors such as Intel Atom® or AMD Ryzen™ processors, designed to run computations fast and efficiently. A key feature of the CX Series is that it is a fanless cooling design. Units will be mounted in a DIN rail, allowing flexible location in a control cabinet, or optimized use of space. DDR3 RAM, which can start at 512MB, is the first of the memory configurations, and they have microSD slots for more RAM expansion depending on the processing task needed. The Windows Embedded operating system support covers a variety of versions and makes the system stable and compatible across a wide range of industrial applications. Embedded PCs usually come with an embedded PSU (power supply unit) usually with UPS support (Uninterruptible Power Supply) in case of small power interruptions.
