The advanced Beckhoff CX1500-M310-1001 is one of the various embedded PC fieldbus modules in the CX Series which enables connection of networks using communication protocols of the types PROFIBUS DP, DP-V1 and DP-V2 (MC). The depicted module carries out data transmission between devices at data rates of between 9.6 kbaud and 12 Mbaud, which makes it very suitable in cases of high demand dependence on industrial automation wiring. Moreover, it possesses a 9-pin D-sub connector for easy connection into an already existing bus system of PROFIBUS type.

The CX1500-M310-1001 can allow connection of nearly 125 slaves and each of them can onboard up to 244 bytes of the input/output/parameter/configuration/diagnostic data of any device. Another amazing feature of this product is that it has ISA plug and play interface with 2 Kb belonging to the class of DPRAM and enables proper fast and reliable CPU field devices.
