The CX1500-B520 is one of the high-performance embedded PCs propelled into the CX Series by Beckhoff for easy integration. It also works with field buses such as DeviceNet for seamless connection of devices within the industrial process. The data rate is up to 125, 250 and 500 kbaud where effective information is exchanged among network devices.
The CX1500-B520 can be connected to a maximum of 63 slaves, thus increasing system scalability thanks to an open style connector and a 5 pin bus interface. This device is capable of dealing with a maximum of 255 bytes for both input and output, thus addressing all forms of data management in automation tasks. Maximum power loss is low, standing at 1.8 W, thus active energy saving is realized. With very small measurements of 38 mm x 100 mm x 91 mm and light weight of about 190 g, installation is made easy especially in places with limited space.
The CX1500-B520 is constructed to have a long-life expectancy even when exposed to operating and storage temperature ranges of approximately 0 to +55°C/-25 to +85°C.
