The CX1100-0930 is an uninterruptible power supply module manufactured by Beckhoff for integration with controllers in the CX Embedded PC Systems series. The unit attaches directly to a CX CPU and buffers the 24 V DC control voltage so that user data can be written to non-volatile memory or a controlled shutdown can be executed when the main supply fails. Within automated plants, this short-term energy reserve helps prevent data corruption and avoids undefined machine states during brief power dips.

The module operates from a nominal input of 24 V DC and links to the base CPU over the 16-bit ISA (PC/104) bus, allowing status and control information to be exchanged without extra wiring.
