The Beckhoff CX1030-0013-1002 Embedded PC from the CX Series for industrial automation contains the high end processor called as Embedded PC. It has Intel® Pentium® M processor with a clock frequency of 1.8GHz which is sufficient for real time control applications. The single core processor performs very well and it is reliable. This model has 256MB DDR RAM which expands up to 1GB to support advanced applications. There is a Compact Flash card slot and it comes with storage of 128 MB. The storage facility of the computers is compensated with expectations of additional development in future.
The CX1030-0013-1002 contains 2 RJ45 Ethernet ports 10/100 Mbit/s with an internal switch for network communications. Four diagnostic LEDs also indicate power, LAN link/activity 2, TwinCAT operational status and flash access 1 helping to improve troubleshooting for users as they receive up to date information on the system operation as well as the issues.
