Product Description:
TheCX1020-N000 is an Embedded PC from Beckhoff, specifically designed for the CX Series. The processor it hosts is an Intel Celeron M ULV 1 GHz clock and 1 core. The Compact Flash slot, CX1020-N000 comes with 128 MB of memory, pre-installed so you can get started right away on all of your data needs. There is 256 MB of DDR RAM installed. The memory can be expanded ex factory to 1 GB.
Connectivity is done on the device via 2 x RJ45 ports for 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet (internal switch). The cooling system of the device is designed very efficiently, based on passive cooling, and optionally also with active cooling ex factory. The CX1020-N000 provides indicators with diagnostic LEDs, which serve to give some visual feedback of the status of the system in the form of indicators for power, LAN link/activity, TC status and flash access, in addition to expansion capabilities via the provision of 1 x Compact Flash type I+II insert with eject mechanism. The use of an internal battery-backed clock ensures the accuracy of time and date. The supporting operating systems this model is compatible with are Windows Embedded CE 6 and Windows Embedded Standard 2009.
Control software options are TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime, NC PTP runtime, and NC I runtime with superior control in automation. The device communicates with the other component by using a 16 bit ISA (PC/104) system bus. The power supply module also allows connections for I/O as well as K-bus and K-bus/IP-Link.
