It is a single core processor which delivers a stable performance, ideal for an automation kind of operating environment.
The CX1020-0120 incorporates 256 mb DDR RAM, which in the workshop can be enlarged up to 1 GB, which allows such a module compatibility with more complex applications. For storage purposes, the module has a Compact Flash card slot; included flash memory is of 128 MB, but more flash memory could be inserted if there is a need for further storage space. Moreover, two RJ45 Ethernet ports operating with 10/100 Mbit/s connections, with a built-in switch for the efficient communication in the network are available in this model. It utilizes passive heat dissipation, but an internal (active) cooling system can be configured to support heat-intensive operating conditions in advance.
