The Beckhoff CX1020-0012 Embedded System is a member of the CX Series and is competent and durable. The Embedded PC unit is designed to carry out industrial automation tasks. It is equipped with an Intel Celeron M ULV 1GHz processor which is expected to give adequate response in the area of control and automation applications. The processor is a single-core, which is excellent for real time processing.
The CX1020-0012 is supplied with 256 MB of DDR RAM which is standard as it can also be expanded to 1 GB more assisting in doing more complex tasks. The system module has a Compact Flash storage capacity with 128 MB, which is included but expandable for additional data. The CX1020-0012 comes with two RJ45 connectors with a switching function supporting 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet, so several devices can communicate easily.
