The Compact Embedded PC Beckhoff CX1010-0111 which comes from the Series CX with in-built comes as a tiny sized module meant for industrial lifting tasks. The Computer system has a 500Mhz Intel® Pentium® MMX compatible processor that is primarily used for control and real time processes. Such characteristic strategy with a single core architecture has been built with dependable performance fully in mind to fulfill the expectation levels of automation systems built up by innovative technologies.
The CX1010-0111 also has 256MB DDR RAM which is not upgradeable plus there is a Compact Flash slot but there is realistically 128MB of built in storage which is further expandable to provide additional headroom for data storage. The RJ45 interface is 10/100 mbit/ss Ethernet and ensures that communications in networking places are maintained. The device features a no moving part, passive cooling means, hence works in a quiet and efficient manner without the need for active cooling devices. The module includes diagnostic LEDs for power, LAN activity and speed, flash access and TwinCAT status, which allows to monitor these control units in short time periods to help resolve issues as rather than help solve them in a long time.
