Product Description:
The Beckhoff CX1010-0021 is a powerful and effective Embedded PC within the CX Series, which is used industrially in control and communication applications with reliable operation. The series is accompanied by an Intel Pentium MMX compatible processor with 500 MHz clock, one core that allows providing qualitative control in various conditions. This device is equipped with 256 MB DDR RAM, which not being expandable is good capacity for all the control processes, together with an expandable Compact Flash card slot with 128 MB memory inserted for data storage.
To ensure connectivity, the device is equipped with an interface of 1 RJ45 10/100 Mbit/s to seamlessly connect into Ethernet networks, ensuring high-speed data transfer. This is connected by 16-bit ISA, PC/104 bus which enable it communicate with the other modules making it a perfect one for industrial usage. Expansion is easily achievable through the 1 Compact Flash type II insert with an ejector for easy system upgrades and to add extra storage options as needed. The cooling system used inside the CX1010-0021 is passive and ensures silent operation with optimal performance. It has diagnostic LEDs for providing power indication, LAN speed indication, LAN activity indication, TC status indication and flash access indication for convenience of check and trouble shooting. There is an internal battery-backed clock to keep the time and date correct; the battery is replaceable for further reliability.
Support for Windows Embedded CE 6 and Windows Embedded Standard 2009: this means it is available as TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime or the TwinCAT 2 NC PTP runtime making there a flexibility when it comes to control applications. It consists of maximum power consumption of 8 W energy efficiency and reliability, offering an ideal solution for modern industrial systems.
