The Beckhoff's CX1001-0122 belongs to the firm's range of CX Embedded PC Series; this device is designed to be an economical CPU module for industrial applications. In the compact design, this module has been designed to house a Pentium® MMX-compatible processor at 266 MHz. The reliable operation is delivered by 128 MB RAM and 64 MB Compact Flash memory while processing the series of automation tasks. It can be operated using Microsoft Windows XP Embedded, with compatibility applications on both, the process automation and the machine control easily achieved using the provided device.
The CX1001-0122 connectivity can also be made via a connector of DVI and USB ports, in addition to an Ethernet RJ45 port and an additional 9-pin D-sub RS232 interface allowing compatibility in almost any range. Diagnostic LEDs are also available for power, LAN speed, LAN activity, and flash access; therefore, system monitoring becomes quite easy. A compact Flash type II slot, which is equipped with an ejector, is also used for further expansion. 24V DC power supply will be used to ensure stability.
