The CX1001-0120 is an Industrial PC module from the CX Series intended for use in demanding applications in the industrial environment, owing to its compatibility and efficiency with Pentium MMX technology.
This model comes with different memory configurations; 16MB Flash and 32MB RAM or 64MB Flash and 128MB RAM depending on the complexity and needs of the applications. For operating systems, it offers a variety of choices through the Microsoft Windows CE.NET or Microsoft Windows XP Embedded to enhance the use depending on the application that is being used. The system interfaces comprise an important Ethernet port as well as an RS 232 port to enhance standard connectivity. Further expansion of connectivity is available through two USB interfaces, and there is an available DVI interface for connection to Beckhoff Control Panels or other monitors that have DVI inputs. The unit is based on the PC104 bus standard to allow it to fit in with a large number of industrial sub-components. It can be used with TwinCAT CE PLC or TwinCAT CE NC PTP software thus making it an ideal PLC or motion control system.
