Core performance is supplied by a Pentium-MMX-compatible CPU clocked at 266 MHz, which supports deterministic task times for typical TwinCAT PLC Runtime applications. The module carries 32 MB RAM, giving the operating system and user program room for variables, buffering, and diagnostic data. Nonvolatile storage is handled by a 64 MB CompactFlash Card, and its Type II slot also permits replacement if larger capacity is required. Network connectivity is native through 1 × RJ45 Ethernet, which is useful for access and plant-wide data exchange.
