Product Description:

The BK9100 Bus Coupler is engineered by Beckhoff. It connects EtherCAT networks to I/O terminals used in industrial automation. The standard configuration enables the processing of 64 bus terminals through this device. The K-bus extension enables the terminal count to reach up to 255.

The BK9100 bus coupler works with 512 digital signals for both input and output operations. This coupler has the ability to manage 128 signals for both analog input and output operations efficiently. The transmission speed of Category 3 cables reaches 10 Mbit/s of speed. Category 5 cables function for delivering up to 100 Mbit/s speed. A power supply of 24 V DC with -15% to +20% tolerance range is needed for operation. The > provides compatibility for data communication. It is done through TwinCAT ADS, Modbus TCP, as well as Beckhoff real-time Ethernet. Twin RJ45 ports of the device support dual-channel switching capabilities. The bus coupler automatically recognizes both 10 Mbit/s and 100 Mbit/s speed data transfer rates. The transmission cable consists of four strands in two twisted pairs made from copper wires. Each K-bus has an input current of 70 mA and a portion amounting to 25 percent of the entire K-bus current. The bus coupler can draw a maximum of 500 mA of input current. The unit requires a fuse with a rating of 10 A.

The > functions within temperature conditions extending from -25 °C to +60 °C as its ambient operating range. The coupler stores safely within the temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. This bus coupler enables stable communication and signal handling throughout the system network. Users can configure and integrate this coupler software easily without facing difficulties. The coupling system provides adaptable connections for digital and analog hardware peripherals.
