Product Description:
The Beckhoff-designed BK9000 bus coupler makes industrial automation smarter by seamlessly integrating electronic terminal blocks with Ethernet TCP/IP networks. This coupler has 64 bus terminals and one end terminal. It allows users to connect up to a maximum of 255 terminals. This can be achieved using a K-bus extension. This device's connection is done through standard RJ 45 connectors, and its IP address is set with a DIP switch. The unit performs an automatic input/output word assignment for its process image. The BK9000 offers flexible connectivity, with the coupler supporting both 10 and 100 Mbit/s Ethernet speeds. In networks with DHCP, the IP address is auto-assigned by the DHCP server.
The product supports ADS TwinCAT system communication. This device's firmware can be updated using a serial cable and the KS2000 configuration software. The unit can be utilized with all types of bus terminals. This coupler's register stores different types of parameters that are parameterized through a PC. The product features digital and analog peripheral signals. This device is fitted with a fuse with less than or equal to 10 A current rating. The unit's ambient temperature for operation is between -25 C and 60 C. Its integrated LEDs highlight the status of the channels.
This coupler provides six connection methods. The product's contacts should not be touched directly to avoid destruction caused by electrostatic discharge. This device is positioned to the left of the bus terminals. The unit operation needs a 24 VDC supply. For seamless integration, this bus coupler connects effortlessly to external switches and supports standard Ethernet star topology.
